Grey Mareis set up for families up to six people with its easy access, two large bedrooms and multiple living areas. For larger groups Grey Mare can be booked with the adjoining studio Four Mile Hut which offers another complete accommodation accessed through the shared lobby area.

Step into the expansive open-plan living area, bathed in natural light thanks to the chalet’s smart, passive solar design. A huge stone fireplace is the heart of the lounge, with a raked timber feature ceiling offers a cosy ambiance to unwind after a day of mountain fun. Relax on plush seating, with the warmth of thermostatically controlled floor heating underfoot and reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep things perfect, no matter the season.

For those who love to cook, the entertainer’s kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and a large breakfast bar, ideal for serving up a hearty meal before heading out to explore. Whether you’re preparing a family dinner or a quick snack, this space is as functional as it is stylish, leading effortlessly into the lounge area for relaxed evenings by the fire.

The separate media room is the perfect space for movie nights or downtime. It features two comfortable leather couches and a full-length cushioned bench seat, making it an ideal spot to watch the latest blockbuster on the Blu-ray DVD player or flat-screen TV.

On the upper level, you’ll find the master bedroom with a luxurious king bed and stunning views of the surrounding ranges. In addition a truly unique feature awaits in the backyard of Grey Mare—a historic Thredbo Ramshead chairlift, the only accommodation in the area with this iconic piece of history.
