Candlelight Lodge is a warm and friendly European style lodge in Thredbo. Offering year round accommodation in a great location, Candlelight Lodge is known for its great food and spectacular outlook over the mountain.

Each cosy room at Candlelight Lodge has a private ensuite, small fridge, TV with DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. Some larger rooms are available with two bedrooms in each, giving large families and groups space to spread out. As an added bonus, these family rooms also include an X Box console, and games and movies are available at reception to borrow at no charge. Every room has beautiful views of mountain, while most rooms have a balcony for you to soak in the mountain air and sunshine. Your tariff includes breakfast year round, with a continental breakfast being served in summer and a hot, hearty breakfast in winter to give you the energy to hit the mountain.

The Candlelight license a la carte restaurant and bar has been part of Thredbo folklore for decades. Featuring both local and international cuisine and a fondue to die for, winter nights are best spent enjoying the atmosphere and food at Candlelight Lodge.

Other facilities in the lodge include a comfortable and warm lounge area where you can relax in front of the open fireplace with a drink and enjoy the amazing view. When your tired muscles need attention, the sauna is on hand to provide relief. If this doesn’t do the trick, an in-house masseuse is ready to help. Kids and big kids alike will be kept entertained by table tennis and foosball as well as a large selection of board games, DVDs and X Box games to make use of. For the convenience of guests, Candlelight Lodge also provides a large ski and snowboard storage room in addition to a drying room to keep your winter clothing dry and ready for use.

A feature of any winter stay at Candlelight Lodge is to join other guests in the bar and on the deck to watch the weekly flare run before fireworks light up the mountain every Saturday during the ski season.
